 A VERY short 1.5km drive up the road lies Gordes. Perhaps one of the worlds most beautiful hill towns in all of France. It has everything: hotels, restaurants, majestic views, shops, galleries, fairs, markets, all packed in a tiny jewel box town.

Just a 20 Minute walk in the morning takes you to Beautiful Cabrieres d'Avignon, where you will find more great restaurants, the BEST Pattiserie, and a wonderful butcher and a traditional French Village Market.

Want a casual, and quick trip to Menerbes, former home of the late Peter Mayle, who wrote the best-sellers, "A Year in Provence", and " Toujours Provence"? It's just 5 minutes away by car. A great Place to spend a day, and maybe an evening!

Avignon is just 25 minutes away by car. The Palais Des Papes is a must see, as is the Fabled, Pont d'Avignon, made famous by the song every French school child learns by the time they are 5 years old.
